Pumpkin Explorations were a hit!! Here are a few quotes I heard. "Ewwww!" "I needs to wash my hands!!" "This is Halloweeny". Lots of first timers being brave and digging their hands into the pumpkin to dig it out!

We are learning the difference between facts and opinions so we had a "Dog Show". We did some writing and judged the dogs. The purple husky was the overall winner of "Best in Show". We also snuck a little time for a few games of Kings Corner.
March Events... *Hannah from Ms. Young's Child Development class taught us a new morning meeting game. *Meghan (a former student of mine) volunteered through Junior Achievement program and taught us a some social studies lessons. *5th Graders presented to us about biomes.
We played a couple of Minute-To-Win-It Games that we didn't get to over Valentine's Day. It took lots of teamwork, determination, patience and perseverance!

TRASH TO CASH WINNERS!! Our class brought in the most Box Tops, Teal's Receipts, old markers, etc. for the month of January so they got to pick an outfit for me to wear!

Our Classroom won the "Paws"itive Pride Door Mat for Respectful Hallway Behavior! Mrs. Croatt's class sang us a song when they presented us with it! Way to go!!

Three Little Pigs...This week we talked about how buildings are made from different materials and ready many versions of the The Three Little Pigs. Then, we did a puppet show and tried to build a house the Big Bad Wolf couldn't blow down!
