*Empty Kleenex Boxes: Mr. Resley (music) is looking for EMPTY Kleenex boxes for a project. If you have any, please send them to school.
*This week we get to see a couple of special performances. On Thursday afternoon, we will walk to the high school for a play put on by some middle school students. On Friday morning, we will see a brass band performance sponsored by Minnesota Public Radio. Valentine’s Day Party!! We will celebrate Valentine’s Day on Wednesday, February 13th (due to the days off following Feb. 13). Paper & directions will be sent home on today on how to wrap your box. Boxes are due February 4th. If you need a box, I have a few extra; just have your child ask for one. You may send in your Valentines any time they are ready. I forgot to mention when I posted this earlier that if you send in candy/food treats with your child's Valentine's cards, please send treats that are lactose/milk free. If you've already purchased treats or are unsure, no need to buy different ones as I have alternate things available and I'll check the labels. Class List *I'll send this list in a paper copy. Monday, January 14: HAT AND GUM DAY (Please provide gum for your child) Tuesday, January 15: DRESS LIKE A TWIN Wednesday, January 16: COMFY DAY Thursday, January 17: DRESS LIKE A PIONEER OR SOMEONE FROM HISTORY OR 100 YEAR OLD PERSON Friday, January 18: JERSEY DAY OR PURPLE PRIDE Please help your child remember how to dress each of these days to join in the fun!
