*Sledding in Gym! This week, hopefully Thursday, the kids will be going sledding in gym class. Please remind your child to have all of his/her outdoor gear. Having an extra pair of dry mittens/gloves would be great as most are wet from morning recess.
*Seesaw: I'm sending home an invitation for you to sign up to see an online portfolio of work your child has been doing on an app called Seesaw. We've done several things with it and will continue to work on it now and again for the rest of the school year. It's totally optional, but fun to hear your child read & see his/her work and how he/she has grown. I'll send reminders in the future after we have added new pieces of work. *Math Homework: *Addition and subtraction facts through 12 (we'll be doing lots of work with fact families...4+2=6, 2+4=6, 6-4=2, 6-2=4) *Counting and trading different combinations of pennies, nickels, & dimes (quarters if your child is ready) *Telling time to the hour, half hour, & quarter hour March 9: Just a reminder that next Friday, March 9, is an early dismissal day. School dismisses at 12:10pm.
