Hello! Just a few updates...
Thanks for your help sending the kids to school excited and prepared. Things are going well and the kids continue to adjust nicely. They are very receptive and willing to make changes from what they are used to doing. Wednesday, September 30: At Home Learning Day: On Monday, I will send home work for the At Home Learning Day. In order to be counted present for that day, you'll need to return the completed work on Thursday. Please let me know if you have any questions. If you have any questions on Wednesday, please email me and I will get back to you in between meetings. Thanks! Fridays: Fridays are "Purple Pride" Days. Wear your Huskie clothing or purple/black/white if you'd like to. "All About Me Posters": Please return by Wednesday, September 30. Books Orders: The books orders are due Friday, October 2. Yearbooks: You can order online at JostensYearbooks.com or turn in money to the Albany Elem. School office with your order. Make sure you have your student's name and grade on it. They are $15.00 each. This information is also listed on our district website, under the Albany Elementary tab.

Hello! We had a great first day. We did many activities, practiced names, played outside and had a great time. The kids did so well with the masks! Just a few notes below.
-Please continue to send a water bottle back and forth each day. I'll send it home each day to be washed. -One idea for masks is to have several in your child's backpack for each week. Two baggies would work great...one for the clean ones and one for the dirty ones. It's nice to have a few spare ones if they get dirty, are uncomfortable or lost. -I'm looking forward to the days ahead. Thanks so much for the open communication, encouragement and the many tokens of gratitude you've already given to our classroom. -My personal reminder for the year is, "It might not be easy, but it'll be worth it!" Go Huskies! |
